Saoussen Ben Halima holds a BSc in biochemistry from McGill University (Canada), a MSc in biosciences from École Normale Supérieure (Lyon, France) and a PhD in Neuroscience from the university of Zürich (Switzerland), where she is currently a postdoctoral fellow investigating strategies to improve the safety profile of a potential Alzheimer’s disease therapy. During her PhD she worked on collaborative projects with clinical researchers to identify biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease. At EspeRare, Saoussen is a biomarkers consultant assisting in the design of the protocol, execution and reporting of clinical biomarkers discovery activities.
