Stephanie Carnesecchi holds a PhD in Biology (University of Strasbourg, France). She moved to the Medical School of Geneva (Switzerland) to develop and manage pre-clinical and translational projects in different disease areas. In 2014, Stephanie joined GenKyoTex where she was responsible for pre-clinical, biomarker and signalling discovery projects spanning varied disease areas. Stephanie also lectures at the Medical School of Geneva.
At EspeRare, Stephanie contributes to the development of the biomarkers programme in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
As a private non-for-profit organisation, we strive to uncover the potential of existing molecules to address severe therapeutic unmet needs in rare diseases, thus giving better chances to existing drugs to reach these underserved patients.
