Anna Chiara Nascimbeni

Anna Chiara Nascimbeni has 20 years of experience as a biomedical scientist in public health institutions, including the Department of Neurosciences at Padua University, in Italy, which is part of the European Reference Network for Rare Neuromuscular Diseases, and the Necker Enfants Malades Institute in Paris, France. Her background includes a PhD in Neurosciences and a postgraduate specialization in Medical Genetics. She was involved in research and diagnosis on rare neuromuscular diseases and cell biology research, mainly on autophagy, a cellular process contributing to diverse pathologies.
