Ewen Sedman

Ewen Sedman is the former SVP of Strategy and Business Operations at Merck Healthcare, with over 30 years of leadership across the entire R&D value chain. Throughout his career, he oversaw critical functions from early discovery through late-stage clinical development across multiple therapeutic areas.

He played a central role in the development of several NMEs now approved in both Europe and the U.S., and among others, led the establishment of Merck Serono’s Neurodegenerative Disease Research unit.

Ewen holds a combined honours degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. He spends his life between France and the USA, is an avid supporter of Manchester United, a keen music fan and runner.
