Isabelle Aelbrecht

Isabelle Aelbrecht is Pharm-D by training completed with a MSc in Toxicology. She has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a proven track record as Senior Clinical Project Manager and Senior Project Team Leader. Prior to EspeRare, Isabelle contributed to developing the clinical operations infrastructure at Poxel, a Biotechnology company, including the Phase 3 clinical program of Imeglimin, an antidiabetic drug in Japan. She managed the day-to-day collaboration with the industrial Japanese partner for the clinical development, registration and medical affairs activities during initial phase of commercialization. She was accountable for driving the overall project strategy of 2 assets in metabolic and rare diseases, and coordinated the associated project teams to ensure delivery according to strategic corporate plan.
